What Are VoxEdit Contests?
Voxedit Contests run regularly in the Sandbox's community. Voxel artists from all levels of experience can potentially win NFTs or SAND for creating great ASSETs using the VoxEdit software.
Submitted entries may be voted on by The Sandbox Team, and/or official partners depending on the specifics of the contest.

Skill Enhancement
Refine your Voxel art skills. Explore new ideas and methods and create outside of your usual comfort zone with interesting themes.
Exposure
VoxEdit Contests are a brilliant way for you to develop and show off your asset creating skills. Where would Games be if not for all the fantastic assets inside of them. Take part and we'll showcase your work
Mint your Assets! In some of our contests we give winners a chance to be able to mint and sell their assets through The Sandbox. Additional requirements may be needed to fulfil this.
Community Spirit
Take part in a fun and vibrant community of fellow creators and artists, where you can share your progress, exchange ideas, collab with others and learn tips and tricks.

VoxEdit contests are tons of fun. Push yourselves to new limits with creativity and imagination. We run Live VoxEdit contests where you join in a stream and create along side in a fast paced environment.
Prizes
VoxEdit Contests are exciting, with varied formats and prizes! Some let you work on your submission over time, some are tailored for beginners, some are live, and some have a competitive bracket style to determine the winners.
Follow The Sandbox Medium, Discord, and Twitter for contest announcements and details specific to each one.
The total prize pool for our regular VoxEdit contests is 8300 SAND spread across a top 10. If stated in the medium article top 5 or top 10 will be given the option to have their assets minted and go on sale on The Sandbox Marketplace. They will need to submit to have an asset review and approved, but once approved artists can mint and sell that winning asset.
Beginner VoxEdit Contests run alongside internal regular contests. The prize pool for these ones is 2600 SAND spread across a top 10. There are very specific requirements for being eligible for the Beginners Category see Rules & Guidelines for more information.
The total reward pool for the Live VoxEdit contest is 1000 SAND, which is split between 5 winners.
Winners are announced in Discord as well as on our VoxEdit Twitter.
The contest is done over a 3 hour period where participants are given the theme and a select colour scheme at the start of the stream. They need to create an asset within those criteria's in the 3 hours.
VoxEdit Mini contests are a shorten formed contests than our regular contests with a prize pool of SAND and Catalysts which includes a participation prize for the first 100 submissions that don't place within the top 10. Judging criteria for VoxEdit minis don't include the Animation criteria.
Catalyst packs are sent to the top 5 winners to mint their assets and be placed in a special marketplace collection.
Voxel wars is a brand new contest. Where 20 contestants take part in a bracket style contest.
Prizes are as followed 1st - 3000 SAND 2nd - 2000 SAND 3rd - 1000 SAND 4th - 1000 SAND 5th - 500 SAND Participation - 25 SAND
