The Sandbox offers a diverse range of incentives geared at kickstarting the user-generated metaverse.
The Sandbox has some funds, grants and programs to encourage skilled and knowledgeable community members to take part in the growth of the platform and provide some great content for others to enjoy, while earning rewards in the process.
With our new , 2.5% of the sale price of each asset sold at The Marketplace supplies The Sandbox Foundation with SAND to distribute among The Game Maker Fund, staking, and rewards.
The Game Maker Fund and Creators Fund have both supported the ecosystem by offering grants to incentivise high quality content and game production in The Sandbox. The Ambassador Program has provided high quality support to the community.
The Creator Fund closed when minting assets became a public feature.
The Creator Fund was a program for asset creators with proven skills in asset design or voxel art. Accepted artists were provided training, assigned content to create for set compensation in SAND, and permitted to mint some of their highest quality creations if selected by The Sandbox.
Many great projects have been supported by The Sandbox Foundation through the Game Maker Fund.
The Foundation has supported the community through the following activities:

Supporting local community managers to grow awareness around the globe about The Sandbox, NFTs and blockchain gaming via our Community Rewards and Ambassadors program
Supporting play-to-earn tournaments and cross-gaming with activities such as the F1 Delta Time prize pool tournament that encourage the broader adoption of SAND.
Supporting marketing activities contributing to the growth of awareness about NFTs, Metaverse and SAND adoption, including co-marketing with Exchanges, Influencers etc such as WazirX SAND Giveaway or SAND Exclusive Campaign or Bitmart Halloween Trick or Treat.
