Alpha Season 6

TL;DR

From September 24, 2pm UTC players can enjoy 30 experiences, with new releases every week. Teaming up with over 20 partners, including the amazing Cirque du Soleil franchise.

SAND and NFTs can be earnt throughout the season as rewards, including wearables, equipment and access to exclusive rewards and content including access to the SAND Prize Pool if you own the Prize Pool Key that's unlocked at level 35.

Alpha Hub: Connect, Claim Rewards

The Alpha Hub is a social gathering spot that remains open for the full duration of the season. It's a jam-packed wonderland with immersive areas and many top brand partners. Players start their journey here, hanging out with friends, pressing ENTER to chat with players or ambassadors there to help.

Players can interact with characters and content in the Alpha Hub for tips and tricks to guide their season journey and earn their first Ethos Points through quests.

Players are encouraged to revisit the Alpha Hub weekly to unlock gated areas with NFT passes to claim rewards.

Battle Pass: Level Up!

The player's journey through Alpha Season 6 is tracked within the Battle Pass, with 35 exciting levels to conquer. Completing each level grants a unique reward, including SAND and different types of NFTs.

14 of the levels have free rewards for all players, while the remaining 21 levels have rewards exclusively for Premiums Pass holders. Battle Pass can be accessed both within the game client and on the web dashboard starting September 24 at 2pm UTC, when Alpha Season 6 launches.

Premium Pass: Unlock Rewards

Each Battle Pass level the player reaches during Alpha Season 6 will unlock rewards, like SAND or exclusive NFTs. Some of the rewards are exclusive and can only be unlocked if the player owns the Alpha Premium Pass. The Premium Pass will earn owners additional SAND, NFTs within the Battle Pass as well as completing level 35 will reward players with the SAND Pool Key. Which gives access to the 250k SAND Pool Prize shared among the players.

NFT STAMPING

NFT stamping links ownership to both the NFT itself and its usage. When you activate an NFT's utility, we stamp it with your name.

To claim season rewards from the Battle Pass, you need one of the following:

✅A Premium Pass that is unstamped ✅A Premium Pass that is stamped with your name

For instance, if you have an unstamped NFT and claim a Battle Pass reward, your Premium Pass will automatically be stamped with your name, and its metadata will be updated.

If you buy an Premium Pass that is stamped with someone else’s name, you won’t be able to claim Battle Pass rewards, as it doesn’t carry your name.

The NFTs that are subject to stamping are the following:

Earn Ethos Points (EP)

As with previous seasons, playing and progressing in Alpha Season 6 revolves around the collection of Ethos Points, or EP. Gathering EP allows players to level up their Battle Pass (and unlock rewards!).

Players can earn EP in several ways. The primary one is simply by playing and completing the different types of quests across all season experiences. There are three types of quests within Alpha Season 6:

Once a player earns a certain amount of EP, they progress to the next level in the Battle Pass. Completing level 1 requires 140 EP, level 2 requires 290 EP, and so on, up to level 35 (with 5000 EP!).

Refer Friends

Players can earn bonus EP for inviting friends to play Alpha Season 6! For each friend that reached Level 10 in the Battle Pass, you will receive an extra 300 EP (up to a max of 10 friends)

Own an Avatar

Avatar owners passively earned bonus EP weekly based on the rarest avatar in their connected wallet!

If the player owns multiple Avatars of different rarities, they only earn EP from the rarest Avatar they own

The weekly bonus EP for Avatar ownership will be distributed every Monday 10am UTC.

Players could purchase an avatar in the Avatar Shop to start earning passive EP during the season!

Own Jurassic World Dinosaur Egg

In Alpha Season 6 you can take part in a special egg collection event, earning and hatching dinosaur eggs that grow into different species will reward you with EP Boosters. You can also craft your own Cirque du Soleil Avatars and gain EP. EP Boosters from Jurassic World Dinosaurs will then apply to EP rewards from Cirque du Soleil Avatars.

How to Get a Jurassic World Dinosaur Egg:

• The Common Egg (Dilophosaurus) can be earned by completing level 1 on the Battle Pass. It can also be minted.

• All other eggs (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary) must be minted from The Sandbox Marketplace.

To earn EP Boosters, you’ll need to grow your Jurassic World Dinosaur Egg into an adult within the Jurassic World: Dinosaur Preserve experience. Once your dinosaur reaches adulthood, you’ll be able to claim the EP Booster from the Research Centre page based on the rarity of your Dinosaur. You must own the NFT to claim the EP Booster.

EP Booster Rewards Based on Egg Rarity

For example:

• If you own a Dilophosaurus and a T-Rex Egg and they reach adulthood, you will will be able to claim a 55% EP Booster.

How to Get a Cirque du Soleil Mannequin:

• The Common Mannequin (Luchador) can only be earned for completing level 1 on the Battle Pass with a Premium Pass.

• All other Mannequins must be minted from The Sandbox Marketplace.

To earn EP, you’ll need to craft your Cirque du Soleil Mannequin into a complete avatar within the one of the two Cirque du Soleil experiences. Once your avatar is crafted, you’ll receive a one-time EP bonus based on its rarity. You must own the NFT to get the EP reward.

Buying an Avatar from a Collection release during Alpha Season 6

There will be three additional Avatar collections released during the season. Purchasing an Avatar from those collections will earn you a one-time reward of 200 EP (per collection).

Season Rewards

Alpha Season 6 is filled with many incredible rewards, with a SAND reward pool and exclusive NFTs. Discover more about the rewards for Alpha Season 6 below.

• 6 SAND is available for all players to earn throughout the Battle Pass.

• LAND owners have the opportunity to earn 40 SAND based on the collective EP gained by the community (more on this below).

• IP Pass holders can earn a maximum of 36 SAND that is claimable within the Alpha Hub.

• 1 SAND Pool Key granting access to the 250,000 SAND pool at the end of Alpha Season 6

Cirque du Soleil Avatar Transformations

Step into Cirque du Soleil experiences and embark on a collective missions: Build the Torre de Luzia, a symbolic tower representing creativity, diversity and unity.

Play the experience and craft your own avatars to earn up to 30,586 EP! Crafting is similar to taking care of your eggs in the Jurassic World Experience from Alpha Season 5. You'll be able to mint tour Cirque du Soleil Mannequins and through playing in the Cirque du Soleil experience you'll be able to craft them up to a fully fledged Avatar.

Partner Passes and LAND Passes.

Most experience in Alpha Season 6 will have unlockable content. This unlockable content comes in the form of Premium Areas in experiences that can only be accessed by those who own the required NFT.

Acquire Passes through the Battle Pass and the LAND Owner community Goal, then use them to unlock the Premium Areas in the Alpha Season 6 Hub, where SAND chests await.

SAND PRIZE POOL

Alpha Season 6 features the almighty SAND Pool. The SAND Pool holds 250,000 SAND which will be distributed to eligible users at the end of the season.

To be eligible you need to

✅ Own a SAND Pool Key ✅ Play with a Verified Account (please check the Account Verification - KYC section for more information)

How does it work ? Every EP that you get in Alpha Season 6 will determine what will be your SAND Pool share. The formula is the following

PlayerShare = PlayerEP / ∑ EligiblePlayersEP * SANDPool

Let’s say : SANDPool = 250,000 PlayerEP = 8,000 ∑ EligiblePlayersEP = 24,000,000 8,000 / 24,000,000 * 250,000 = 83.33 In this example, the player would earn 83.33 SAND

You got it, after you got your hands on a SAND Pool Key, you will need to collect as many EP as possible to maximize your share

SAND Pool Schedule

At the End of Alpha Season 6, we will take a snapshot of eligible users and their respective EP amounts. We will then proceed to a verification of the eligible users to rule out cheaters from the list. Once the verification is over, we’ll send out the Claims to all winners.

LAND Owner Rewards

LAND owners can earn bonus rewards based on the Ethos Points gained by the community as a whole during Alpha Season 6. There are 4 community milestones between 5,000,000 to 20,000,000 collective EP, and when each milestone is reached, LAND owners are able to claim LAND Owner Pass NFTs that inlocks access to a special room in the Alpha Hub. Each room holds a SAND Chest with 10 Sand. Meaning LAND owners can earn up to an addition 40 SAND throughout the season.

Claim Rewards

Alpha Season 6 rewards earnt through completing Battle Pass levels, Premium Quests, Avatar Ownership, LAND Ownership, daily challenges, etc. automatically appear on your Claims page when you are logged into your account.

Rewards earnt from giveaways from livestreams or partners may be received differently (and you may need to provide your wallet address). Please follow instructions provided in giveaways from The Sandbox Trusted Partners or The Sandbox team.

Avoid Scams

Be careful about potential scammers who may want to offer anything that's too good to be true and NEVER share your wallet's seed phrase or password with ANYONE (even staff)!

This may include Premium Passes, Partner Key NFTs, Avatars, LAND, or even fictitious content that isn't built into The Sandbox Season 6 structure for playing and earning rewards. Always check the source to verify it is official.

Your wallet is managed by a third party. The Sandbox is not able to recover any lost funds from scammers who attempt or succeed at stealing content from your wallet with fake offers. We'll do our best to report any known scams identified during Alpha Season 6 to help keep you safe!
