COMPATIBILITY
Experiences created in versions prior to 0.9 that are opened and saved in it can only be edited in 0.9 from that point on.
Experiences created in 0.7 and 0.6 that have been shared to the Gallery will not be playable in Game Maker 0.9.

What's Can Rules Do?
18 Rules make it possible to use and manipulate numbers, text, time, and true/false values:

Build Fast with Presets
With one click, add a pre-made Ruleset and customise to communicate with behaviours and components used in your Experience objects:
🏃♂️ Avatar Equipment & Mechanics
New equipment selection and Avatar mechanics add flexibility and depth to your Experiences.
Decide if players who start the game from a certain spawn point can use NFT equipment they own in your Experience.
🆕Override Equipment toggle controls player use of equipment NFTs in their wallet.

Avatar Mechanics
Note: The Player menu (pictured) is deprecated.
Global settings such as swimming, oxygen, and fall damage are now located in Parameters in the Gameplay menu.
Local settings (avatar, equipment, and input settings which varying among players) are now located in Spawn Point & Avatar's Feature.
Enable new gameplay hazards for players.
🆕 Fall Damage toggle allows for damage to player health if falling from high places, with more damage from higher falls
🆕 Oxygen toggle allows for damage to player health if they're underwater for too long, with more oxygen lost from moving faster





🧰 New Tools
Use new quality of life tools to improve your Experience creation workflows and quality.
🆕 Customise how to place, move, and rotate blocks and assets based on your Experience design needs.
This revamps the snap system and enhances the grid system with customisation options.
SNAP TO GROUND button to drop Assets to the surface of solid blocks beneath them
Set grid opacity and scale for easier planning
Set rotation degrees and movement increments and configure to local or global modes
Toggle On/Off snapping to the X, Y, and/or Z planes of the grid you've defined
🆕 Replace temporary placeholder Assets without losing the logic you already applied.
Replace the selected instance of an Asset
Replace all instances of a selected Asset
Move selection between instances of the Asset to find the right one to replace

Quick Access Bar - Groups
🆕 Create ten times the shortcuts in named groups to organise your project.
Create up to 10 shortcut groups of 10 assets, blocks, logic actors, etc.
Rename groups and use keyboard shortcuts to switch quickly between groups
Try our first wave of new tools to debug your own Experiences.
🆕 Display Collision Colliders to avoid weird physics
🆕 Display Render Bounds to avoid inaccurate renderings of assets

Other Updates
Grid system enhancements:
The default opacity for the grid is now 10%
The asset will be previewed perpendicular to the plane the user is placing the asset
Hierarchy panel bug fixes: Scrolling bugs have been addressed.
Recent projects list enhancement: Updated to only display in the home screen when a user has recently opened an experience linked to that account.
"Not owned assets" shader enhancements and bug fixes: The shader has been replaced with a less intrusive one. Now the shader is not displaying when exclusive assets are being used in the experience.

Assets you own appear normally 
Assets you do NOT own have a shader and Buy Asset button Custom avatar selection UI bug fix: The custom avatar disclaimer has been removed.
