Technical Guidelines

Use plain text from the English alphabet

  • No quotation marks, back slashes, emojis, or special characters

Can use rich text formatting

  • HTML commands for <color=yellow>color</color>, <b>bold</b>, and <i>italic</i> text

Character limits

  • Speaker Components 300 character limit NPCs making statements to players

  • Asker Behaviours 260 character limit NPCs with two-way dialog with players

  • Tip: Use Len() function in spreadsheets to count characters

Rich text formatting counts toward character limits.
