Colour Strategy
Colour Theory
A colour wheel is a simple visual aid for selecting the base colours for a design. Think of hue as a base for a colour. Tint lightens the colour, and shade darkens it.
Try using the different combinations of colours as strategies for a different feel with your art: primary, analogous, secondary, complimentary, square, and split complementary.
DESIGN TIP: COHESIVENESS
Create a unique and cohesive art style for an Experience or a collection of assets you intend to sell on the Marketplace by consistently using a colour strategy on multiple assets. Even if the assets have different colours, they will feel balanced with each other and relevant.

USING COLOUR CODES
To create a custom palette you can use the colour picker tool available in most apps and get the colour's code, then enter it in VoxEdit's Material panel. This embedded resource is also a fantastic way to find a colour scheme. You can copy the hex code for a colour just by clicking on it! Colour Palettes for Designers and Artists.
