Those who surrendered their NFTs got the following benefits:

* Short term: Those who surrendered their The Sandbox MoonCats NFTs received 500 $SAND.
* Long term: Those who surrendered their The Sandbox MoonCats NFTs received a replacement NFT, designed jointly by Ponderware and The Sandbox.

### :scream\_cat: Compatibility note

The Sandbox MoonCats were not going to be compatible with an updated The Sandbox client or any Ponderware projects. The replacement NFT was designed for future compatibility with The Sandbox game.

There is unlikely to be anything that The Sandbox or Ponderware can do to help you with this, as NFTs are decentralised, meaning they are out of both of The Sandbox's and Ponderware's control. You can contact your wallet provider for further assistance.
