The Buildersโ€™ Challenge rewards creators based on player engagement rather than competition. This ensures that high-quality, replayable experiences receive fair and proportional rewards.

Key Reward Principles

Engagement-Based

Rewards are calculated based on real player interactions, not rankings or fixed prize pools.

No Set Prize Pool

There is no fixed cap on the total amount of SAND distributedโ€”earnings scale based on engagement trends.

Max Earnings Per Experience

A single experience can earn up to 50,000 SAND over the 4-week event.

Fair Distribution

The reward formula is designed to reflect genuine play without being manipulated.

How Rewards Are Calculated

Rewards are determined based on a combination of engagement-related factors that reflect how players interact with an experience. This includes various metrics that evaluate player visits, time spent, and meaningful interactions within an experience.

Reward & Earnings Transparency

To maintain the integrity and fairness of the Buildersโ€™ Challenge, we do not publicly disclose the full reward formula. This prevents:

  • Exploitation & Manipulation โ€“ Hiding the formula ensures creators focus on real engagement rather than trying to game the system.

  • Artificial Inflation โ€“ Stops creators from artificially boosting engagement through exploits or third-party services.

  • Fair Play โ€“ Ensures all creators compete on an equal footing, with rewards accurately reflecting genuine player interaction.

We are committed to communicating clear guiding principles for how engagement is rewarded, allowing creators to focus on quality, fun, and replayability. Reward Distribution Timeline

After the four-week event is over, data and any open reports will be reviewed to ensure fairness and detect any anomalies. Earnings will be distributed as soon as possible, estimated at 2-3 weeks after the event.
