Game Maker 0.9 introduces a brand new Creator experience including:

COMPATIBILITY
Experiences created in versions prior to 0.9 that are opened and saved in it can only be edited in 0.9 from that point on.
Experiences created in 0.7 and 0.6 that have been shared to the Gallery will not be playable in Game Maker 0.9.

This revamps the snap system and enhances the grid system with customisation options.
SNAP TO GROUND button to drop Assets to the surface of solid blocks beneath them
Set grid opacity and scale for easier planning
Set rotation degrees and movement increments and configure to local or global modes
Toggle On/Off snapping to the X, Y, and/or Z planes of the grid you've defined
Over 25 new templates have been added with categorisation to find them quickly.
Use these new templates to learn the Game Rules system and other new features of Game Maker 0.9 faster:
Grid system enhancements:
The default opacity for the grid is now 10%
The asset will be previewed perpendicular to the plane the user is placing the asset
Hierarchy panel bug fixes: Scrolling bugs have been addressed.
Recent projects list enhancement: Updated to only display in the home screen when a user has recently opened an experience linked to that account.
"Not owned assets" shader enhancements and bug fixes: The shader has been replaced with a less intrusive one. Now the shader is not displaying when exclusive assets are being used in the experience.
Custom avatar selection UI bug fix: The custom avatar disclaimer has been removed.

Override Equipment toggle controls player use of equipment NFTs in their wallet.
Global settings such as swimming, oxygen, and fall damage are now located in in the Gameplay menu.
Fall Damage toggle allows for damage to player health if falling from high places, with more damage from higher falls
Oxygen toggle allows for damage to player health if they're underwater for too long, with more oxygen lost from moving faster
