In VoxEdit's Home screen, select the Modeler in the left menu to begin a new project. You can create a new asset, open one from your files, import a file in VOX format, or access recent files by selecting a thumbnail.
The Modeler interface includes 8 main areas. Select an option below for an explanation of the interface in detail:
1️⃣ Dropdown Menu
Access the File, Edit, Help, and Feedback menus.
2️⃣ Top Bar
Specific project tools that apply to creating 3D models and texturing.
3️⃣ Tools Menu
In the Modeler, all modes are available to use in combination with the creative tools also available the Block Editor.
4️⃣ Viewport
The 3-dimensional space for creating content in VoxEdit.
5️⃣ Tool Tips Bar
Hover over any tools in VoxEdit for a short description.
6️⃣ Material Panel
A colour customisation tool to modify a selected swatch in the Palette Panel.
7️⃣ Layers Panel
Add, remove, clone, merge, and hide layers in your model.
8️⃣ Palette Panel
An array of up to 256 colours available as customisable swatches.
