APPLICATION HOLD - NEW GMF MODEL COMING SOON
Applications are on hold for the remainder of 2023 while the team reviews current submissions. The Game Maker Fund will be announcing a new model soon and accepting new applications again in 2024.
The Game Maker Fund is an initiative at The Sandbox which provides support to game designers and game studios from a variety of skill and experience backgrounds, who have unique, brilliant metaverse game or metaverse Experience ideas. This includes guidance to produce and publish their ideas so that millions of players at The Sandbox can visit, play, and enjoy them.
Producing a highly detailed Game Design Document (GDD) is standard practice in the game development industry to thoroughly plan out your project and share your ideas with others, whether you're pitching your idea or building it. We encourage you to use our basic template to get started.
